Birthday party invitation inspired by a vintage greeting card, part of the Freud family correspondence.
The card shows a beautifully composed garland of pansies and margaritas. The flowers carry a summery feel, but this is actually a new year's card, dated 1.1.1900. Back then it ssems to have been perfectly alright to send flowers on every occasion, every time of the year. Perhaps they thought that it is always nice to remind people of the mild season, when living is easy.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical ordering my birthday invitations online but these came out better than I could EVER imagine. The colour and quality was excellence, and they even sent a few extras which I thought was considerate. Definitely ordering from zazzle again. the quality of paper is excellent...almost stock card-like. the color was vivid and wasn't weak in any areas. I honestly have nothing bad to say about my experience.
