This photograph was taken by the James Webb Space Telescope Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam). The protostellar phase is one of the earliest phases of stellar evolution. This star is in its earliest stages of growth and is 460 light years away. Keep, edit, or delete the custom descriptive text. Transparent white has been added to aid in notetaking.
