Birds of Pax (Peace) Postcard

Two doves rest among the letters in the word “PAX” in the medieval design on this postcard. The two classical, linen-coloured birds of peace are filled with a swirling floral pattern. Raspberry tone-on-tone stripes on their tail fans add a splash of colour along with the same pinkish-red colour on their beaks. The Latin word for “peace” is in deep burgundy, Gothic text.
