Bird on Weeping Cherry - Shidarezakura ni kotori Snowflake Pewter Christmas Ornament

Bird on Weeping Cherry, or Shidarezakura ni kotori, is a lovely woodblock print by Ohara Shōson. A lovely songbird clings to a branch of a pink weeping cherry tree, with blossoms gracefully dangling from the tree. The background is a pale orange gradient, suggesting morning or dusk. This lovely minimalist nature scene just might make you think spring, even as you decorate your Christmas tree as winter is kicking in.
