Understanding the Jubilee cycles and when they are gives you the understanding of the chronology of end time events. Knowing how many Jubilee cycles are allotted to us also gives you the understanding chronologically of what has to take place and when. Understanding the curses that go hand in hand with the Jubilee cycles again reveals the headline news and how Yehovah is carrying out those curses in a precise order which He has done for many of the Jubilee cycles in history. The first mention of the Sabbatical Years can be found here: And הוהי (Yehovah) said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” (Genesis 6:3) The word for “years” here is “shaneh.” H8141 שׁנה שׁנה shâneh, shânâh, shaw-neh’, shaw-naw’ H8138—A year (as a revolution of time): Whole age, X long, old, year (X -ly). It was erroneously translated as years, but the fact remains it refers to simply a period of time. This was a prophetic statement to us about 120 Jubilee year cycles and not 120 years. The statement refers to the overall time given to mankind and not the lifespan of one man. Genesis 6:3 is telling us that man will have 120 periods of time. It is the only place this is said. Many people use this to then jump to the following conclusion: 120 x 50 = 6,000 Years (Thinking there are 50 years in a Jubilee year cycle) I have demonstrated beyond all reasonable doubt why the Jubilee Cycles are forty-nine years and then followed by the fiftieth year, which is also the first year in the next count of forty-nine years. But I urge you again to read these things in our book "Remembering the Sabbatical Year of 2016". These 120 periods of time are, in fact, 120 x 49 = 5,880 years and not the 6,000 years many have presumed them to be. A Sabbatical year consists of 7 years and there are 7 Sabbatical Years in a Jubilee Year cycle. That adds up to 49 years. That following year...year 50, is known as the Jubilee Year, but it is also the 1st year in a new cycle. Understand? Let's look at it this way.... Sunday is Day 1 of the week. It has always been the first day of the week. Saturday is Day 7 of the week. The 7th day has always been the Sabbath. When next Sunday comes, you could say it is the 8th day, BUT, it is also the FIRST day of a new weekly cycle. The same holds true with a Jubilee year cycle. Sabbatical Year 1 = Years 1 - 7 Sabbatical Year 2 = Years 1 - 7 OR Years 8 - 14 Sabbatical Year 3 = Years 1 - 7 OR Years 15 - 21 Sabbatical Year 4 = Years 1 - 7 OR Years 22 - 28 Sabbatical Year 5 = Years 1 - 7 OR Years 29 - 35 Sabbatical Year 6 = Years 1 - 7 OR Years 36 - 42 Sabbatical Year 7 = Years 1 - 7 OR Years 43 - 49 Now that you have COMPLETED 7 sets of 7....you get the REWARD! Year 50 is the Jubilee Year and it brings great reward. BUT, it is ALSO the first year in a brand new cycle of counting 7 sets of 7 all over again. Just like the weekly cycle has no Day 8.
