Each mosaic is based on the same base image, which is an aerial view of our GPS track, which is coloured with our daily difficulty ratings of the day's walk. These ratings are described in more detail in this blog post. The three types of mosaic: End2End, Flora & Orchids, use different types of mosaic tiles – The 9,106 photos that we took migrated into 7,230 usable photographs, of which 1,198 were of Northern Flora & Southern Flora, 238 of Orchids and 94 of Fungi; which leaves 5,700 'general' photographs.
