Things didn’t go so well for Julius Caesar, the Roman emperor, on March 15. In 44 BC, he was, shall we say, removed from the Senate by 60, count ‘em, 60 conspirators led by Brutus and Cassius. Caesar was warned by a soothsayer to “beware the ides of March”, but he brushed it off. His bad. So, should we take heed to beware the ides? I suppose that depends on what the backstabbers have in mind… and whom.
