Bene! Good job! Honour a job well-done with this design featuring a laurel wreath and the Latin word for “well-done”…“Bene!” The laurel wreath was worn by Apollo, the Greek god of music, poetry, prophecy, medicine, light, and many other things. The wreath was also worn by victors of the Pythian Games, one of the four Panhellenic Games that transformed into the modern Olympics. In Rome, the wreath was worn by the “vir triumphalis” or “triumphator” during his triumph, a parade honouring his exceptional military victory.
