Beautiful Band-Tailed Pigeon in My Backyard Jigsaw Puzzle

Part brainteaser, part assemble-it-yourself art, this challenging and whimsical, wildlife-themed puzzle is great for improving muscle memory. Third time (and third day!) was finally the charm with the reclusive Band-Tailed Pigeon, North America's largest pigeon. A small, paparazzi-shy, and unusually late-migrating flock of 8 of these purple forest pigeons has been in the neighbourhood for 2 days, but this one finally consented to having its photo taken through a window on a fine spring morning as it perched on the shepherd's crook (after very quietly flying onto one of the 100-foot tall Douglas Firs in the backyard)!
