Bastet Mouse Pad

Bastet is a deity of ancient Egypt’s second dynasty. She is the daughter of Ra, sister of Sekhmet, wife of Ptah, and the mother of Mihos. She is also known as the Lady of the East, Goddess of the Rising Sun, and Goddess of the Moon. Among her many forms, she usually manifests with the head of a cat and the body of a woman. Over the centuries her powers have grown stronger and more diverse. She is a goddess of cats, of the sun, of love, fertility, secrets and magic. And, she is also a goddess of war. She is known for her wrathful vengeance. For over 4,000 years, Bastet has held a deep spiritual connection with cats and is still respected today by those few who know of her powers.
