Baptism of Christ by Verrocchio, Leonardo da Vinci Coffee Mug

Baptism of Christ by Verrocchio, Leonardo da Vinci Coffee Mug

Baptism of Christ (1472-1475) by Andrea del Verrocchio and Leonardo da Vinci is a fine art vintage Renaissance Era religious portrait painting featuring the Baptism of Jesus Christ on the banks of the Jordan River by Saint John the Baptist as recorded in the Biblical Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. God's hands can be seen at the top of the painting coming from heaven as it opens up. A dove and rays of sunlight shine through which symbolize the holy spirit shining above them revealing Jesus's divine nature. The two angels are standing in front of a palm tree which symbolizes salvation and life, one is holding Jesus's clothes, the other has his hands folded. The angel on the left is attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. Finished in the studio of Italian painter Andrea del Verrocchio and generally ascribed to him and his pupil Leonardo da Vinci. Some art historians discern the hands of other members of Verrocchio's workshop in the painting as well.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..

I am very satisfied with the quality of this product. The printing of the image on the mug was absolutely perfect and the quality of the mug itself was very good as well. I would recommend this product to anyone. I am very pleased with how the printing on the mug turned out. The image was clear, not blurry at all, and easy to see. I would recommend this product to anyone.
