Badlands Metal Ornament

Photography displays the scenic beauty of Badlands National Park in this photograph. Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the park is a geologic wonder of eroding buttes, spires and pinnacles. The sun casts deep shadows that fill crevasses, fissures and cracks as parallel striations and ridges paint the rock strata in layers of reds, browns, tans, and greys.
