Baby Fox Squirrel Magnet

This baby Fox Squirrel is quite possibly the daughter of one of our released squirrels. She's a beauty and can often be found foraging on the ground and then quickly, after being discovered, scurrying up one of the maple trees. She'll soon be a member of the largest tree squirrel family native to North America. Found mostly in the eastern states, some have been introduced to the west. Extremely intelligent, they live in nests called 'dreys', made from sticks and leaves and anything else that can be used as bedding.
