The Taxi meets all passenger trains The vintage Taxameter measures accurately the distance travelled and the waiting time, and automatically computes, indicates and records the exact fare for the service rendered. There are several kinds of vehicles in Taxicab service. The Inital charge which pays for the first half mile is $.30. Each quarter mile thereafter is $.10.
