Ashura's anger postcard
Ashura (also known as Asura, a transcription of Skt:asura, free translation: Hiten) is a guardian deity of Buddhism belonging to Hachibushu (Eight Attendants). It is also called Shura. During the Mahayana Buddhism period, it was added between the five Shushi people and the Chikusu people due to its combative nature, and became the master of Ashura-do (Shura-do), one of the Rokudo (six realms).
