This puzzle is based on a painterly version of the amazing work of the Amazon rain forest by Martin Johnson Heade, which features a closeup of a pink exotic Cattelya orchid with Brazilian hummingbirds. A simulated photo/watercolor filter was run on the image to bring out its luminosity. This beautiful 1871 work is in the public domain and made available to Flickr commons by Swallowtail Garden Seeds.

This is a really nice puzzle however it is what I would call fragile while putting together. The pieces fit but are very loose, you need to be constantly pushing them together and when you remove a wrong piece a lot of other pieces come with it. However, the pieces themselves are a good thickness and sturdy. It also has more than one cut to the pieces which make it challenging. I really enjoyed this puzzle and it is definitely a hard one for me. The picture on the puzzle is very good quality. It shows the book cover very well and the detail is great. The size I chose I found was perfect in detail for me. It shows very well.
