Artemis Orion SLS Moon Mission Hockey Puck

NASA’s Artemis program is the next manned space exploration program targeted toward the Moon, Mars, asteroids and other deep space destinations. Named after the twin sister of Apollo, Artemis will include both men and women astronauts. It will employ the Orion spacecraft and Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, plus a new Gateway to be permanently installed in orbit around the Moon. This gateway will serve as a jumping off point for excursions to the Moon’s surface and missions to the planet Mars in the coming decades.
