Art Nouveau Pomegranate Faux Relief Antique Repro Tile

This tile is reproduced from an authentic circa 1900 antique original majolica tile in our personal collection. The focal point of the design is a large pomegranate. It is surrounded by swirling curved leaves. Colors are rose,a blue bordering on teal, and an olivey green-brown on a vanilla background. It is available in 4.5 inch and 6 inch tiles as well as other items. Note that although this tile looks as dimensional as the original, it is actually flat, printed in a faux relief or trompe l'oeil ("fool the eye") style that captures the look of the raised detailing on the original on a smooth surfaced ceramic tile. Note: Our tiles are not the same as the others you see that are from a stock photo or other sources. We do not use stock images or other photos not taken by us. Hundreds if not thousands or more of each tile design was made by the original manufacturer, but there are also variations and condition issues that vary depending on who glazed it, how and where in the kiln it was fired, how and where it was used, etc. Although some of our tiles may be similar to others, they are one-of-a-kind original designs.
