Arcimboldo Summer Tile

Arcimboldo Summer tile. Oil painting on canvas from 1563. Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo was one of the most curious painters of the late renaissance. Famed for his bizarre vegetable portraits, Arcimboldo skilfully painted faces composed of fruits, veggies, grains and other unusual foods. Summer is an allegorical painting featuring a profile portrait composed of peaches, pears, cherries, plums eggplants, wheat and berries. An unusual gift for anyone who loves Arcimboldo, Renaissance art, and Famous paintings.
