Aqua Purple Pink Floral Faux Lampas Brocade Coffee Mug

This pattern is a kaleidoscope remix of an 18th-century lampas weave brocade. It started with an image from actual fabric, courtesy of the Cleveland Museum of Art. I spun the image through a kaleidoscope filter, which created a central wreath that encircles your initials in a coordinating deep purple. I applied another filter to lighten up the colours. The source image is a textile from France, 1723-1774. France, 18th century, period of Louis XV (1723-1774).
