About This Design
Apollo Deep Space Dish Antenna Hockey Puck
This 85 foot satellite tracking dish antenna was built near Goldstone, California in the Mojave Desert, to support the NASA Apollo moon missions in 1967. It was later upgraded with fibre optic cables and became part of the Deep Space Network of 3 dish antennas spread equally around the world. This international radio antenna network is used to contact interplanetary spacecraft, including the two Voyagers, and for radio astronomy to explore the solar system and interstellar space.

Overall I’m very happy with it. Quality wise I feel it could be a bit improved but it still turned out really nice and it definitely touched the recipient very much. Quality could be improved

Had these created for both grandsons- BIG HIT- as, they both play hockey! Even the parents were impressed with the quality and creativity! A definite purchase for a unique gift to give! Colors were good- but, could have been a bit sharper- overall, still would purchase again
