Annunciation Madonna Renaissance Della Robbia Blue Magnet

This is a flat reproduction of a beautiful Italian Renaissance religious terracotta relief by Andrea della Robbia (1435-1525) and his workshop from Florence, representing the scene of Annunciation, when Angel Gabriel announces Virgin Mary that she will have a child. As is customary in an an Annunciation scene, Angel Gabriel is kneeling in front of Madonna, with a lily in his hands. There is also holy ghost represented as a dove above them. The only colours are blue, white and gold (except very little green in the lilies and a book in Virgin Mary's hands ). The background is the light blue sky; both characters have gold aureole and light blonde hair; their skin and angel Gabriel's gown is white, Madonna's gown is a darker blue; angel Gabriel's wings are multicolor patches of golden and blue. The terracotta relief is in the public domain in the United States, the European Union and other countries where the copyright term is the author's life plus 100 years or less.
