"Looking on with Love" - Anne of Green Gables, PEI This is a Reproduction of my original Acrylic Painting on Canvas 16x20. "Looking on with Love" was inspired by the novel "Anne of Green Gables' by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery in 1908. It recounts the adventures of Anne Shirley, an 11 years old orphan who is mistakenly sent to a middle aged brother and sister who had wanted to adopt a boy to help on their farm in Prince Edward Island. The novels tells Annes story of her life with the Cuthberts, school and in her new town. Anne of Green Gables has sold more than 50 million copies and has been translated into 20 different languages. How could I not be inspired to paint Anne and her beloved Green Gables!!! Custom sizing to an exact square allowed me to frame the photo perfectly for the ceramic coaster. There were all kinds of editing options for the images. Very fun to do and they look awesome. I made them as a gift but got a few doubly made for me! Really well done. I wanted the images dark with low contrast and saturated colours and they came out exactly as I hoped!
