Our painting shows the famous city of Amsterdam during night. The old town with its wonderful, picturesque houses and small canals, called Grachts. The three main canals, Herengracht, Prinsengracht, and Keizersgracht, dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Amsterdam, meaning dam on river Amstel has been growing since first being mentioned in 1275 to metropolis with great wealth and a tremendous richness in culture. But now enjoy our painting of Amsterdam.

I was actually surprised by the quality. The material feels like it can handle the wash and the print seems to be set deep in the fibers. BUT I have not washed it yet. The printing was accurate and looks like it can handle washing.
