Here, on the De Ruijterkade, the city's bustling harbour, a symphony of quiet industry played out. The rhythmic creak of rigging, the muffled shouts of sailors, the gentle lap of water against the wooden quays – all melodies in this nocturnal concerto. --- I, Vincent van Gogh, stood here, my brushstrokes mimicking the dance of light and shadow on the water.
