Yet another image found in the artist’s estate a lot of my other images come from. This began life on a trade card, and after I cleaned it up - there was bit of foxing and some creases - , and brightened it a little, it got to what you see here. Which looks great on all kinds of EVERYTHING. Note that there are HUNDREDS more items in my shop with prints from Victorian trade cards. Note also that the print appears on both the front and back covers. Lastly, this would make a VERY cool book for copying recipes into. Wanna see more old? This journal came in within a week of ordering it and I was thrilled! I love roses so I love having this journal. The size is perfect. Small enough to throw in a bag. The printing is clear. The pages are nice and thick. The binding is sturdy. The printing is a little darker than the photo on screen but that is expected with printing. It looks luxurious to me. I love deep red roses.
