A Light Brahma Rooster adapted from an antique engraving in the 1896 Book Profits in Poultry: Useful and Ornamental Breeds and their Profitable Management. The beautiful large Brahma breed with their profuse feathering can originally be traced to China although much of the breeds development took place in the U.S. in the late 19th century. This vintage image has been carefully digitally adapted from an antique book for poultry breeders.
