This very distinguished gentleman is Arnie, Arnie is an American/Japanese type akita mixed breed, I think he’s non akita bits are German Shepherd. Arnie is an amazing individual, his floppy ear gives him a very distinctive appearance and lots of character. His colouring is more like German shepherd but he certainly has the qualities of an akita. Arnie’s dog portrait was painted in soft pastel.
