Aircraft - Spitfire Greetings Card

Spitfires over Southwold Greeting Card Early in the war, 54 Squadron, Hornchurch spent much of their time patrolling the Kent and Essex coastline before helping in the evacuation of Dunquirk and the start of the Battle of Britain. I wanted to paint them flying over Southwold, so decided it was quite likely that at some point during a routine patrol they might well have extended their trip further up the coast into Suffolk. Having gone far enough they are now turning out over the sea to head back to their base in Essex and a pint or two at the local pub.
