A lone tree, rooted in the decaying edge of a rotting trunk and illuminated by the setting sun and rising mist over the waters edge. Almost entirely submerged, the dying trunk supports the new life that grows out of it. This beautiful full colour photo shows a tree that has managed to survive and thrive despite enormous obstacles, and signifies inspirational messages of perserverence and resilience.
