A photograph of The African-American Monument on River Street in Savannah, Georgia USA, and its base of granite engraved with raised hands in prayer with broken chains of slavery and uplifted hands in chains and shackles. This monument is in homage to the Black History of Savannah GA and commemorates the contributions of all her African-American citizens past and present. It is a poignant acknowledgement and representation of slavery and its legacy.
