Gustav Klimt - Adele Bloch-Bauer's Portrait 1907. Previous location of this painting: formerly Österreichische Galerie in the Belvedere palace in Vienna. This painting was sold for $135 million to Ronald S. Lauder, in 2006, who brought it to his Neue Galerie in New York City. At that time it was the most expensive painting ever sold. Klimt's painting Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer has been on display at his museum since July 2006.
