Zazzle Co-Founder Jeff Beaver To Speak at Shop.org Online Merchandising Workshop
Redwood City, CA – July 10, 2014 –
Zazzle Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, Jeff Beaver, will deliver a keynote session on July 22nd at the Shop.org Online Merchandising Workshop. This event takes place from July 21 – 23, 2014 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
This event takes place each year and brings together hundreds of digital retail executives to gain insight into the many facets of effective merchandising and website conversion. Shop.org is the digital retail arm of the National Retail Federation. The National Retail Federation is the world's largest retail trade association, representing all sectors from department stores and home goods stores to Internet retailers from the United States and more than 45 countries.
Jeff Beaver will deliver a talk entitled, “Circle That Crazy Idea, Erase Everything Else.” He will dive into one particularly bold idea that landed on a whiteboard a couple of years ago: to re-brand and re-design the entire Zazzle website in 6 months. He will talk about the highlights and lowlights, the process and rationale, showcase the before-and-after, and attempt to share some key lessons learned. Attendees at the sold out event can expect to hear an unvarnished tale of a project that was both thrilling and grueling, yet ultimately game-changing for Zazzle.
