About 20 miles from my home is a beautiful botanical garden called Fernwood. Part of the large collection of gardens is a wooded area, filled with ferns. It is one of my favourite places to walk. I had to capture it in a watercolor format for you. I hope you enjoy, and can imagine the birds singing, the distant sound of St. Joseph River rushing, and the knocking of the woodpeckers on the trees. A perfect piece of art to give pleasure timelessly and keep the lazy beautiful moments of nature with us year round.
