This photo was taken from Bunker Hill, which stands on the south end of Dutch Harbour, Alaska. The community of Dutch Harbour is actually located on Amaknak Island, which is part of a system of smaller islands located in the bay of Unalaska, on Unalaska Island. Dutch Harbour is connected to the City of Unalaska by a bridge and the two communities are actually a single community bisected by island geography. Dutch Harbour's official name is the International Port of Dutch Harbour, Alaska. It was named the number one fishing port in the United States because of the volume of seafood which is caught and delivered to Dutch Harbour.
