This image was taken from my original watercolor painting of a pot of wild daisies on a shelf. From early spring to late fall, wild flowers of many kinds grow profusely along the roads and fence lines throughout all of my home state of West Virginia. Wild daisies, fawn day lily, chicory, vinca, colt's foot, iron weed, Joe-pye weed, queen Ann's lace and countless others abound. I have a wild flower garden in my back yard where one man's weed is my artistic inspiration.
