About This Design

7th Infantry Division Badge Luggage Tag

The 7th Infantry Division of the United States Military was activated in December 1917 during World War I and is based in California. The 7th Infantry Division is the only active-duty multi-component division headquarters in the U.S. Military. It was nicknamed the "Hourglass Division" after its shoulder sleeve insignia, but also nicknamed "Bayonet Division" or "California Division".
