The garage has seen a lot of history, including lodging civilians in the attic during the World War II housing shortage. Farragut Naval Training Station was a few miles away on Lake Pend Oreille and many people were moving to Northern Idaho during that time (Farragut is now a State Park). Just because it’s a garage, don't think the residents had to climb a ladder to get to their quarters. There is a simple but well-crafted wooden stairway along one interior wall. A four star garage!! Vickie lives on our 440-acre Cedar Mountain Farm in North Idaho. Surrounded by mountains and hay fields and wild flora and fauna, the forested farm offers dramatic clouds, scenic vistas, a rustic pond and rippling creek, and outdoor family adventures. Vickie is at home with rabbits, chickens, horses, sheep and goats, and loves to introduce them to guests of all ages.
