He's a namesake for a much-loved Buddy from the past. Buddy started out life with a few hurdles: He was nearly deaf, developmentally disabled, and afraid of his own shadow. In spite of all that, he was loyal and full of love. He would go up to the sheep fence just staring at these big fluffy monsters. Always, a sheep would thrust its neck out and bite his nose. He never learned! He always remembered a person after he met them, even a once-a-year guest. No stranger to adversity, he soldiered on when he was blinded by diabetes. He was faithful and true up until the time he left this world. Buddy's memory is a blessing to me. I hope his holiday picture blesses you.” Vickie lives on our 440-acre Cedar Mountain Farm in North Idaho. Surrounded by mountains and hay fields and wild flora and fauna, the forested farm offers dramatic clouds, scenic vistas, a rustic pond and rippling creek, and outdoor family adventures. Vickie is at home with rabbits, chickens, horses, sheep and goats, and loves to introduce them to guests of all ages. She always has her camera in hand.
