About This Design

3rd Armoured Division Artillery "Grunge" Luggage Tag

The BattleCrest™ pays tribute to the 3rd Armoured Division Artillery (DIVARTY). DIVARTY was founded in 1941 and served with the 3rd Armoured Division until it was deactivated. It was reactivated in 1948, assigned to the West German division in 1956, and remained operational throughout the Cold War. During the Gulf War, the unit received support from DIVARTY. Following the war, it returned to Germany and was decommissioned in September 1991. This design acknowledges DIVARTY's legacy, including its pivotal role in World War II and the Gulf War, as well as its unwavering service during the Cold War, while also paying tribute to the brave men and women who served and sacrificed.
