• Baby’s First Christmas Ornaments: You may have to wait a few years before your child can help dress the tree, but in the meantime their contribution can be represented by these fetching ornaments.
• Photo Ornaments: Take a photo of anything you think deserves a spot on the tree, and make it so with our design tool and these charming templates!
• Dog Ornaments: And similarly, take a photo of Spot and put that on the tree. It’s a veritable menagerie of animal ornaments here, so look out for curious cats, bemused birds and horses ‘leaving hoofprints on hearts.’
• Best Friends Ornaments: Friends are the family we choose for ourselves, and "choose" is the operative word, there. Follow the steps outlined in our second question below to make a decision on your ornament’s style, material, design and accompanying accessories!

How? Easily, that’s how! You have two options: effortlessly personalize existing ornament designs with Zazzle’s easy-to-use customization tool, or create your own custom ornaments from scratch. You can even upload photos straight from your phone via our app to produce custom Christmas ornaments! Customizing an ornament design added to the site by our Independent Creators is a good place to start, though, so we’ll break down that process here:

• Step 1: Select a design you like and click on its thumbnail to be taken to the product page. There you’ll see a magnified view of the artwork on an actual ornament.
• Step 2: Once you're on the product page, choose a desired material and style. Some ornaments can be purchased with a neat gift pouch, too, and you can request that via a drop-down on the right-hand side.
• Step 3: Click on 'Personalize' and 'Edit Using Design Tool.' You can then add images and text elements using Zazzle's design interface – this is where you'll add your own personal touch to your product!
• Step 4: Click 'Done' and see your final design! Should you want to order several Christmas tree ornaments, you can adjust the number you need via the ‘Qty’ box, located on the top right. You may even be entitled to a quantity discount if you order multiple ornaments!

If you’d like some DIY ornaments to complement your latest Zazzle delivery, then we have a few ideas! If you have any clear plastic ornament lying about, you could fill it with torn-up pieces of tissue paper to create a colourful découpage decoration. Many ornaments are simply pieces of wood, so if you could cut out a wooden square or circle and attach a sticker to it, you’ll have created a makeshift ornament. Any keen knitters reading this won’t have to needle us for ideas, anyway; you can always use wrapped yarn to make a heart-, tree- or star-shaped design. Cookies and other baked goods also make fun – temporary and edible – trinkets.
