About This Design

28th Infantry Division Badge Luggage Tag

The 28th Infantry Division of the United States Military is part of the United States National Guard, the division was formed in 1879 and was nicknamed "Keystone" and or "Iron" Division. It is the oldest division in the United States armed forces and some of its units can be traced back to their lineage to Benjamin Franklin's battalion. During World War I the Germans gave them the name "The Bloody Bucket" Division due to the shape and colour of its red keystone insignia.
