1st Tank Battalion - 1st Marine Division
The 1st Tank Battalion is an armour battalion of the Marines which is based out of the Marine Air Ground Combat Centre Twentynine Palms, California. It falls under the command of the 1st Marine Division and I Marine Expeditionary Force. The 1st Tank Battalion was activated on November 1, 1941 at Marine Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and was attached to the 1st Marine Division. The 1st saw action in the Pacific Theatre of World War Two including the Battles of Guadalcanal, Peleliu, & Okinawa. During the Korean War, the 1st was involved in the Battle of Inchon. The 1st has also seen combat during the Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War, Iraq War, During Operation Vigilant Resolve (The First Battle of Fallujah). On January 1, 2011 Company D, 1st Tank Battalion, deployed to Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan and was the first American mechanized unit to employ the M1A1 Main Battle Tank in Helmand Province.

shirt looks exactly how i hoped. the front part is a bit smaller than i would have liked but i sized it so i know now for next time to make the front logo a tad bigger. the back is perfect! the length to the waist is perfect. the length on the sleeves run a slight bit long bit i rather longer than shorter. i usually roll my sleeves up so its not an issue for me. overall very very happy with the turnout. i really like that its printed and not just pressed on. it turned out exactly how i was hoping in my mind. not much more to say because its spot on for how i wanted it to be
