This division, also referred to as BRO or The Big Red One, has a proud history of valour and achievement. The division, known by its nickname, The Fighting First, has led the charge in numerous significant battles, ranging from World War I to current operations. The recognizable Big Red One shoulder patch, which soldiers wear to represent their everlasting bravery and duty, is proudly featured in this design. I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
