Minton Tile produced several series of similar bird tiles in the late 1870s through the 1880s. This one has a handsome bird on the branch of an oak tree with acorns in a sepia and mocha color.
Minton tiles were considered among the finest produced in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and are highly collectible.
