19th century pig print Berkshire sow no. 1 Notebook
From a circa 1890 book I have on the raising of farm animals. There are oodles of items in my store bearing prints from this book: cows, sheep, poultry, other pigs, the works !! This is captioned 'Berkshire sow, breeder.' Note that the pig appears on both the front and back covers, in mirror image. Note also that this is one of two different Berkshire sow prints in my shop. Although the product is what I expected (it's a notebook), the packaging for delivery was done poorly, and the notebook arrived bent, enough so that I am not comfortable giving it as the gift it was intended to be. The quality of the picture and design is lovely, but again, because it arrived bent, it is rather skewed.

This journal came in within a week of ordering it and I was thrilled! I love roses so I love having this journal. The size is perfect. Small enough to throw in a bag. The printing is clear. The pages are nice and thick. The binding is sturdy. The printing is a little darker than the photo on screen but that is expected with printing. It looks luxurious to me. I love deep red roses.
