1931 Vintage mechanics classic car Burney Poster

1931 Vintage mechanics classic car Burney Poster

Vectorized version of a drawing in a magazine (Everyday Science and Mechanics, November 1931, Volume 2, Number 12.) of the Burney car by Streamline Cars Ltd. Designed by Sir Charles Dennistoun Burney in 1927. Streamline Cars Ltd was the company responsible for making the Burney car designed by Dennis Burney. Sir Charles Dennistoun Burney rose to fame as an airship designer, best known for his work at Howden on the R100 for Vickers. With the ending of the airship programme he used some of his ideas to create a revolutionary car. Starting in 1927, thirteen cars were made at Maidenhead. Each was different, as they were intended as showcases for his patents rather than for serious production. Each car was priced at around £1,500. A blue one was bought by the Prince of Wales late in 1930, and another crossed the Atlantic to be exhibited at the Detroit Car Show. In total, 12 Streamlines were built between 1929 and 1931, but none appear to have survived. Crossley Motors took out a licence to build the Streamline, and two of these vehicles survive.(source: Wikipedia) Ideal for classic car lovers, collectors, car dealers, auto workshops, .... My Bible verse postcard, turned out excellent. I love it and have it already framed. It was so reasonably priced for something done so well. Thank you to Zazzle and the artist! I thought it looked exactly like what I ordered. Perfect.

Poster is printed clearly, good quality . Inclusive of many prints . The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown

I am a fan of Ravens and needed to have a poster of my favourite bird. The image quality is sharp.
