1930s Buck Rogers comic Wilma Deering Jigsaw Puzzle
This image comes from the estate of an artist who had thousands of pieces of old paper: old magazines, old sheet music, old childrens books, old photos, old postcards, old comic books, and on and on it went. This image was found loose, so I don’t know which book it came from. It’s captioned ‘Dr. Huer’s yell in Wilma’s earphones almost deafened her: “No! No! On your life– Don’t do that!” he cried.’ I guess Wilma paid attention, because she lived on in later books. Wilma looks VERY cool on all kinds of EVERYTHING. Wanna see more old? This is a really nice puzzle however it is what I would call fragile while putting together. The pieces fit but are very loose, you need to be constantly pushing them together and when you remove a wrong piece a lot of other pieces come with it. However, the pieces themselves are a good thickness and sturdy. It also has more than one cut to the pieces which make it challenging. I really enjoyed this puzzle and it is definitely a hard one for me. The picture on the puzzle is very good quality. It shows the book cover very well and the detail is great. The size I chose I found was perfect in detail for me. It shows very well.
