1907 Relic of City Hall Savannah GA Historic Postcard

1907 relic rendition of architectural design of Savannah, Georgia's City Hall building. It was from an original watercolor by the actual architect Hyman W. Witcover, from 1903. Built in the years of 1904-05, by the Savannah Contracting Company during the administration of Mayor Herman Myers. It was an Italian Renaissance Revival structure of granite and limestone exterior, and the original copper dome was first gold leafed in 1987. It never was built with the Roman chariots because of the budget and was considered for a later time that never happened.
