1906 Vintage European peacocks wallpaper art Postcard

"Peacocks" was painted by a Latvian textile artist Julijs Straume (1874–1970), on paper with tempera paint. After his studies in St. Petersburg, he obtained a scholarship that enabled him to live in Paris from 1905 to 1907. During his stay, he created the most beautiful textile and wallpaper designs of his career, including this lovely arrangement. Signed by the artist on the bottom right corner. To honour and commemorate the artist, the artwork has captions in English and Latvian ( at the back of the postcard).
